That's a Wrap and Pediatric Pearls

Hi everyone,

With over 65 posts provided over four-and-a-half months, the 5th Semester of The Lactation College on Substack has concluded. It is my sincere hope that this site has helped IBCLC-test takers and anyone else interested in the field of lactation. The 6th Semester will start up in mid-April.

My partial funding for this free site has dried up, as funding does. I am struggling with how to keep the free education going.

One way is to get you to support the cause. Behind the paywall on this site is the Advanced Option of The Lactation College on Substack. The cost for a subscription is $8 a month or $50 a year. For this you will receive:

• Research Thursday posts - looking at interesting research articles in the field of lactation

• Pediatric Pearls - this is new. Many of you shared that you would like to learn more about pediatric issues, common findings, common illnesses. As a pediatrician, I can do that! This will be a weekly post (I am not sure of the day yet). The first one is coming soon —- The Head: Bumps, Lumps and Soft Spots.

• A chance to pay it forward.
